Normally there are over 100 re-enactors from a variety of European countries. Some on foot and some on horse-back, taking part in the colourful display. All wearing uniforms from the Williamite period and lead by Sir Henry Inglesby's Fife and Drum Corps.

Over 10,000 people come to watch as the main parade of 20 bands, re-enacters, Orangemen and Women wind their way through the old town to the Castle.

The Pageant this year is to be held on Saturday 13th. June 2015. Brethren and bands to assemble in Woodburn Playing Fields and the parade to move off at 12.00 noon. The Landing of King William will be at the harbour at 1.00 p.m. and the main parade will commence at 1.30 p.m. The return parade will be at 3.45 p.m.

Each year we make special effort to add even more colour to the event. Carrickfergus is steeped in history and the Pageant is a big draw for tourists.
